About Shinmaiko Garden Hotel

"Shinmaiko Garden Hotel" is a resort hotel perched on a small hill in Mitsu-cho, Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture, within Setonaikai National Park. In the large bath, Tenkuu no Yu, you can enjoy the hotel’s quasi-natural hot spring, an artificial hot spring made by dissolving hot spring ingredients from Togo ore, in a wonderful panoramic open-air bath and indoor bath overlooking the horizon of the Seto Inland Sea. The men's large bath is equipped with a powerful high-temperature dry sauna and a crisp, cold cold plunge bath. Outdoor bathing in the open-air area, where you can feel the sea breeze, offers an outstanding sense of openness, and you can relax while gazing at the Ayabe-yama plum grove and the beautiful scenery of Harima-nada spread out before you.

Quasi-natural Togo Hot Spring (Tenkuu no Yu)

A quasi-natural hot spring that extracts effective mineral components such as sodium, calcium, bicarbonate, and sulfate from the natural Togo ore of Tochio-mata Onsen in Niigata Prefecture and dissolves them into the hot spring water. It is gentle on the skin, has a smooth texture, and gradually warms the body from within, delivering excellent heat retention benefits. It is known for helping recovery from fatigue and easing sensitivity to cold, lower back pain, and neuralgia. You can luxuriate in it in the open-air bath with an ocean view spread out before you.

A compact cold plunge bath located right near the sauna room. It quickly cools down the body temperature raised to the limit in the sauna. It is characterized by a firm, refreshing chill that spreads a clean, cooling sensation throughout the body. After getting out of the cold plunge bath, head straight to the open-air area right next door, where you can fully enjoy the ultimate outdoor bathing experience while feeling the pleasant sea breeze.
