"Asanoya" is a long-established ryokan in Yumura Onsen in Shinonsen Town, Mikata District, Hyogo Prefecture. It owns four abundant private hot spring sources and provides generously flowing natural hot spring water throughout the large baths, open-air baths, and even the baths and washbasins in every guest room. Its biggest highlight is Yumechiyo-dō, a low-temperature geothermal sauna located underground, down from the open-air bath. Reviving an underground space that was once used as a drying room, it lets you enjoy gentle yet remarkably abundant perspiration without straining your body, thanks to the geothermal heat of the hot spring and the steam filling the space.
