"Hotel Futaba" is a hot spring inn in Yuzawa Town, Minamiuonuma District, Niigata Prefecture. Guests can enjoy a bath-hopping experience across more than 20 kinds of baths, including the panoramic large public bath, Sora no Yu, with its spectacular view from the hillside, and Yamambocha, which features a variety of unique bathtubs. The sauna is equipped with an automatic löyly system and a tourmaline sauna, filling the room with pleasant heat and allowing you to work up a refreshing sweat. You can also fully enjoy the hot springs in the open-air baths in the guest rooms and the private baths, while savoring kaiseki cuisine made with seasonal Uonuma ingredients, for a luxurious stay that deeply soothes both body and mind.

An exceptional natural hot spring overlooking the Echigo mountain range and the hot spring town from the hillside of Yuzawa. This gentle, weakly alkaline simple hot spring has a smooth texture and an especially soft feel on the skin. It is also known as a skin-beautifying bath, and warming up thoroughly helps ease everyday fatigue and tension. At the panoramic large public bath Sora no Yu and Yamambocha, where many baths are lined up, you can enjoy a wide variety of bathing experiences to your heart's content.

A sauna attached to the large public bath. It is equipped with an automatic löyly system, and moderate humidity and gentle heat spread throughout the room. You can warm your body thoroughly and work up a pleasant sweat. Just outside the sauna room is an open-air area with a sweeping view of Yuzawa's rich natural scenery and beautiful townscape, making access to outdoor bathing excellent. In this quiet, relaxed space, you can enjoy a meditative moment.

A compact cold plunge bath for one, tucked away in the large public bath area. It uses tap water, but feels relatively gentle on the skin and slowly cools the body after a sauna session. Overflowing water is continuously replenished, helping maintain cleanliness. In this small, private-feeling tub, you can quietly enjoy the cooling sensation.
