About Arima Grand Hotel

"Arima Grand Hotel" is a prestigious resort hotel in Kita Ward, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. Perched on a hill, it offers breathtaking views overlooking the Arima hot spring town and the Rokko mountain range. At the top-floor observatory bathhouse, Unkai, and the underground Yurari, guests can enjoy Arima's renowned hot springs, Kin-sen and Gin-sen. Each large bath area is equipped with a full-fledged sauna and cold bath, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious alternating hot-and-cold bathing experience while taking in the vast natural beauty of Rokko and the pleasant breeze. It is the ultimate inn where you can spend a blissful time in perfect harmony with the scenery.

Hot SpringONSEN

Arima Onsen Kin-sen

Kin-sen, Arima's world-famous and exceptionally rare hot spring. It emerges colorless and clear, but when exposed to air, the iron oxidizes and it turns a distinctive brownish-red. With a salt concentration about 1.5 times that of seawater, it is extremely high in salinity, and the salt film that envelops the skin provides outstanding warmth retention and moisturization. From indoor baths to open-air baths, you can fully enjoy the smooth, superb cloudy water to your heart's content.

Arima Onsen Gin-sen

Gin-sen is characterized by its colorless, clear appearance and soft, smooth feel. This water is a blend of carbonated spring and radium spring, gentle on the skin and softly enveloping the body. It is expected to promote blood circulation, boost metabolism, and awaken the body's natural healing powers. In open-air baths and other settings, you can enjoy a relaxing soak that slowly loosens both body and mind while immersed in clear, pure water.
