Large Bath Musashi no Yu

Musashi no Yu is a large public bath that lets you feel the rustic atmosphere of a mountain village surrounded by bamboo groves. It has an indoor bath and a spacious open-air bath directly accessible from it, where you can soak in Shuzenji's gentle waters while gazing at fresh young leaves, vivid autumn colors, and the quiet beauty of winter landscapes as they change with the seasons. The weakly alkaline simple spring water is gentle on the skin, known for its beautifying and fatigue-relieving benefits, and warms both body and mind from deep within.

Large Bath Tsuu no Yu

Tsuu no Yu is a large public bath surrounded by a garden where beautiful flowers bloom in every season. Compared with Musashi no Yu, it is slightly more compact and has a more private atmosphere. In early summer, vivid Kirishima azaleas bloom in full; in summer, crape myrtle; in autumn, autumn leaves; and in winter, nandina, letting you enjoy the renowned waters of Shuzenji while admiring the ever-changing natural scenery. The smooth water caresses the skin gently and softly eases away fatigue.

The baths are generously filled at all times with the famous waters of Shuzenji Hot Spring, allowing you to enjoy the soft, beautifying water whenever you like, as much as you like, in a private setting of the highest quality.
