An inn with a superb view of Shinshu’s mountains and rivers, offering three continuously flowing natural hot springs carefully protected by the hot spring caretaker

Nagano Yamanouchi Town

"Issa no Komichi Biyu no Yado" is a hot spring ryokan in Yamanouchi Town, Shimotakai District, Nagano Prefecture. Nestled in Yudanaka Onsen, which has a history stretching back 1,300 years since its opening, it offers three freshly blended spring sources that are meticulously managed 24 hours a day by the hot spring caretaker, and you can enjoy them as 100% free-flowing natural hot spring water with no added water and no recirculation. A soft indoor bath in the main public bath, prepared with a jacuzzi-style water-mixing system, an atmospheric open-air bath reached by descending a staircase, and a rooftop private open-air bath where you can stretch out and fully enjoy the night view of the hot spring town and the moon all come together to create a diverse lineup of baths. The mildly alkaline, skin-beautifying water gently soothes travelers.
