At Izumi, you can enjoy different open-air baths such as cypress and rock baths, while at Megumi, you can relax in three indoor baths at different temperatures and a cypress bath. There is also a private bath modeled after a garden, where families and partners can fully enjoy this famous hot spring in a private space.

"Izumi," the large public bath, is a spacious, open Japanese-style indoor bath with alternating use for men and women. It is filled with fresh, 100% free-flowing famous water drawn directly from Yubatake Spring. In the beautiful open-air area with a wood deck, there are three baths: a fragrant cypress bath, a rugged rock bath with a wild feel, and a ceramic barrel bath where you can quietly and deeply enjoy the water on your own. You can savor a wide variety of bathing experiences while feeling Kusatsu's refreshing outdoor air.

Large Public Bath "Megumi"

"Megumi" is a large public bath with alternating use for men and women that offers a different bathing experience. The indoor baths are equipped with three tubs clearly separated by temperature, "hot," "standard," and "warm," so even those who are not comfortable with Kusatsu's hot water or small children can soak safely. In the open-air area, there is a cypress bath where the scent of cypress and the sulfur aroma distinctive to Yubatake Spring blend beautifully, as well as a Shigaraki-ware ceramic bath that offers a pleasantly enveloping sense of privacy.
