A historic natural hot spring in Akiu, enjoyed across 3 large public baths, with a history dating back to the Kofun period. The spring is a chloride spring known for its excellent heat-retention effect, and when you soak in it, the soft water has a gentle feel that seems to cling to your skin. In addition to the spacious indoor bath, you can enjoy a bath tour across 16 unique tubs, including an open-air rock bath, a full-moon bath, and a cypress barrel bath. After bathing, your body warms from deep within, and the cozy feeling lasts for a long time.

Private Bath

Three types of private hot spring baths where you can enjoy bathing in complete privacy to your heart's content. Families and groups can luxuriate in the famous waters of Akiu without worrying about others. The circulation is excellent, so you can move smoothly into cooling down. After the cold plunge bath, enjoy a luxurious outdoor air bath while feeling the abundant nature and breeze in the open-air area.
