About KAI Ito

"KAI Ito" is a hot spring ryokan in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture, operated by Hoshino Resorts. Its biggest highlight is the four private source springs that gush from Ito Onsen, one of the leading hot spring areas in Japan for sheer volume of water. From the large public bath to the indoor baths and open-air baths in every guest room, and even the source spring pool that can be enjoyed at a comfortable temperature all year round, you can savor free-flowing hot spring water throughout the property. The large public bath features an indoor bath filled with the fragrance of hinoki cypress, as well as an open-air bath where a waterfall of hot spring water cascades down from a dramatic rock arrangement. The skin-friendly chloride and sulfate spring helps loosen tired bodies from deep within. After bathing, you can spend a quiet, soothing time admiring the Japanese garden, which reveals different expressions with the seasons, while enjoying the foot bath or the post-bath lounge.

The indoor bath is wrapped in the fresh scent of hinoki cypress, creating a calm and serene space.
