About Oyado Tsukiyo no Usagi

"Oyado Tsukiyo no Usagi" is a hot spring inn in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. Standing at the gate of Izumo Taisha, its tatami-matted interior invites you to relax the moment you step inside barefoot. Charming rabbit-themed details inspired by the white hare of Inaba appear throughout the property, gently lifting the mood of your journey. The large public bath features a reclining bath where you can stretch out and let your body float in the water, with an indoor bath and an open-air bath both offering the alkaline simple hot spring from the inn's private source, Taisha no Yu. A mist sauna wrapped in steam is also available, and you can extend your bath-hopping experience to the large bathing area at the sister property on the same grounds. Five private baths with different atmospheres are available free of charge without a reservation, and post-bath ice pops, late-night ramen, and a library lined with books about Izumo quietly fill the time after your visit to the shrine.

Large public bath

A large public bath where you can enjoy the alkaline simple hot spring drawn from the inn's private source in both an indoor bath and an open-air bath. The highlight is the reclining bath, where you lie back and soak as if floating in the water, letting the tension in your shoulders melt away. The soft, smooth water feels gentle on the skin, and its warmth lingers long after you leave the bath. Step out into the open air and the atmosphere of the temple town brushes your cheeks, while a white rabbit stone statue beside the tub adds a gentle touch to the bathing experience.
