A long-established ryokan located right above Unzen Jigoku in the national park, enveloped in billowing clouds of steam rising from the hot springs. With its 2022 renovation, it has been reborn as a luxurious space where tradition and modernity blend together. Its pride and joy, the hot spring Kirin no Yu, is a fresh, free-flowing sulfur spring drawn directly from Daikyokan Jigoku. The large bath is also equipped with a spotless dry sauna and a cold plunge bath, and alternating between hot and cold bathing while wrapped in the rich aroma of sulfur offers a deep sense of healing and purification found nowhere else.
