Large public bath
A gender-separated large public bath fed by the island’s only natural hot spring. The spring quality is a calcium-magnesium chloride cold mineral spring, and the mineral-rich water gently warms the body as if enveloping it, with a lingering feeling of warmth after bathing. In front of the open-air bath, Genkai-nada stretches out before you, so you can enjoy the sea breeze while having the sunset sink toward the horizon or the starry night sky all to yourself. The indoor bath uses plain hot water, and it is a bright bathing area open toward the blue sky and sea. The water is maintained through a circulation system for sanitary management. It is said to help with neuralgia, muscle pain, sensitivity to cold, and recovery from fatigue.
