"Tosa Mochizuki Onsen Himewako no Yu" is a day-use hot spring facility in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture. The interior, themed around Taisho romanticism, offers a nostalgic yet refined space that feels like a small resort, a little removed from everyday life. The open-air bath, one of the largest in the prefecture, is especially appealing for its spacious setting facing the eastern sky, where guests can enjoy a luxurious soak while feeling the rich sunlight and gentle moonlight. In addition to natural hot spring water that warms you to the core and a high-concentration artificial carbonated spring, the facility also features well-equipped bathing amenities, including an authentic sauna with auto löyly. Hot SpringONSEN
Large bath
A natural hot spring consisting of a spacious open-air bath and a large indoor bath, both among the largest in the prefecture. Monochloramine disinfection is used, resulting in little irritating odor and a gentle bathing feel that is less likely to leave the skin tight. In the open-air area, which opens widely toward the eastern sky, you can leisurely enjoy the hot spring under abundant sunlight during the day and under gentle moonlight at night, with an exceptional sense of openness.
High-concentration artificial carbonated spring
An artificial carbonated spring available in the indoor bath. Fine carbon dioxide dissolved in the water gently surrounds the entire body and warms you gradually from the core. Even long baths are easy to enjoy, and the comforting warmth continues pleasantly even after you leave the bath.
SaunaSAUNA
Far-infrared high-temperature sauna
A high-temperature sauna wrapped in powerful far-infrared heat. On the men's side, auto löyly is offered, letting you enjoy a heat bath that quickly raises the perceived temperature inside the room. It is a space that encourages plenty of sweating and brings deep refreshment to both body and mind.
Kiln steam bath
A charming steam sauna located in a separate building in the open-air area. Even those who do not like hot dry saunas are less likely to feel stifled, and can slowly enjoy gentle sweating while surrounded by pleasant steam.
Salt sauna
A salt sauna equipped in the women-only area. By placing salt on the skin and gently working it in, it helps remove old dead skin cells and pore impurities while promoting sweating and tightening the skin. It leaves the skin smooth and moisturized, making it a welcome sauna for women aiming for beautiful skin.

Cold water bath

By car
- From Kochi Chuo IC on the Kochi Expressway (head west on the Otsu Bypass)
- From the direction of Kochi Station (head east on the Otsu Bypass → go south at the Oridanchi entrance → turn left at the corner by Dome23 Gozaten and continue straight)
- From the Otsu area (head west on the Otsu Bypass → turn left at the west end of the Shin-Kokubun River Bridge and go south → immediately turn right)
