About Yurara no Yu Oshikuma

"Yurara no Yu Oshikuma" is a day-use hot spring facility in Nara City, Nara Prefecture. Its two large open-air baths, one in pure Japanese style and the other in a tropical Balinese style, alternate weekly between men and women, creating a fun atmosphere like a hot spring theme park. You can enjoy the naturally flowing spring water of "Narayama no Yu" in a wide variety of baths, along with a high-concentration carbonated spring and high-performance shower heads. Three distinctive saunas, a crisp cold plunge bath, and an open-air relaxation area provide the ultimate in relaxation.

Hot SpringONSEN

Narayama no Yu Natural Hot Spring

One of the largest open-air baths in the Kansai region, filled with a high-quality simple hot spring that flows up from underground. The two large open-air baths, one in pure Japanese style and the other in tropical Balinese style, are beautifully designed with Japanese garden elegance and an exotic atmosphere, accompanied by the pleasant sound of flowing waterfalls. The water is mellow and gentle on the skin, with excellent benefits for neuralgia and muscle pain. You can enjoy a little luxury while feeling the spaciousness of nature.

High-Concentration Carbonated Spring

A carbonated spring made by lavishly dissolving carbon dioxide into natural hot spring water. When you soak in it, your whole body is enveloped in fine bubbles, and the carbon dioxide helps strongly support improved blood flow and circulation by expanding the blood vessels. The temperature is kept pleasantly warm, so it places less strain on the body and lets you enjoy a long, relaxing soak. An overflow system is used to keep the water fresh at all times, ensuring cleanliness.

SaunaSAUNA

01SAUNA

Far-Infrared Sauna Hidamari

Men'sWomen's

A spacious sauna that slowly warms the body from deep within with the help of far-infrared effects. The heat is mild and does not feel stifling, so even beginners and those who do not like intense heat can sweat plenty without strain. It has a TV and a wide seating area where you can sit back and relax. Its soft warmth gently eases everyday fatigue and tension.

02SAUNA

Mist Sauna Kirigakure

Men'sWomen's

A mist sauna filled with fine, steam-like warm water vapor, offering a pleasant negative-ion effect. With its relatively low and gentle temperature setting, it is easy to breathe in and easy on the throat and nose. The moist steam envelops the skin, gently opens the pores, and promotes circulation. Along with strong detox benefits, it is a soothing space where body and mind can refresh calmly.

03SAUNA

Soshin Rakujo Salt Sauna

Men'sWomen's

A salt sauna installed in the open-air area, where you can apply salt to your body and work up a sweat. The gentle heat slowly penetrates the body, and the dissolved salt lifts away old dead skin cells and impurities from the pores. Your skin becomes smooth, and strong anti-aging and beauty benefits can be expected. Especially popular with women, it is a facility that nurtures beautiful skin over time.

Cold BathCOLD BATH

01COLD BATH

Cold Plunge Bath

Men'sWomen's

An essential cold plunge bath in the indoor bathing area, perfect for finishing off your detox after a sauna session. Its crisp, refreshing coldness instantly cools down your heated body and leaves your whole body pleasantly toned. It may also help refine the texture of your skin, and the refreshing sensation is outstanding. After the cold plunge, you can enjoy an invigorating outdoor air bath on the totonoi chairs in the spacious open-air area.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
