About Tokushima Natural Onsen Aratae-no-Yu
Tokushima Natural Onsen Aratae-no-Yu is a day-use onsen bathhouse in Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture. It takes pride in natural onsen of great purity, fed straight from the source, never recirculated, with no water added at all, and a wide range of baths, among them an open-air bath and a carbonated bath, soothe body and mind. A bath fed straight from the source, never recirculated (heated, no water added), where you can enjoy the onsen’s rich minerals just as they rise from the ground. The dense water, high in salt and bicarbonate, leaves skin soft and smooth, and it is loved as a bath for beautiful skin. It keeps you warm long after bathing, heating the body through to the core and gently easing everyday fatigue and muscle tension.

A classic far-infrared dry sauna in both the men’s and the women’s main bathhouses (Shiro and Kuro). Thanks to the far-infrared rays given off by the ceramic walls, the heat feels mild and easy to breathe in, yet it warms the body slowly from the core and brings on a heavy sweat. It is a roomy space where you can take your time watching TV.
