About Hotel Iya Onsen

"Hotel Iya Onsen" is an inn with a hot spring located in Iya Valley, one of Japan's three most remote and secluded places, in Ikeda Town, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture. Its greatest attraction is the open-air bath at the bottom of the valley, reached by a private cable car descending a 42-degree cliff, where you can fully enjoy the abundant natural spring water with free-flowing hot spring water straight from the source. The large public bath is a scenic bath overlooking the panoramic beauty of Iya Valley, where you can relax in the silky, alkaline waters known for beautifying the skin while spending an extraordinary moment of silence and luxury.

Valley Open-Air Bath (Keikoku no Yu / Seseragi no Yu)

An open-air bath in the middle of nature, located at the bottom of the valley and reached by cable car descending a steep 42-degree cliff. It uses an abundant natural spring in free-flowing style. The water is characterized by a silky, mellow texture. When you soak in it, fine bubbles gently wrap around your body, creating a pleasant feeling of buoyancy and warmth. You can spend a truly exquisite moment while listening to the murmuring of the river flowing right in front of you.

Panoramic Large Bath "Unyuu Tenkuu no Yu"

A grand scenic bath located high inside the building, overlooking Iya Valley below. Through the large windows, magnificent scenery that changes with each season spreads out before you like a painting. As you soak in the silky skin-beautifying waters while feeling the power of nature all around you, you can enjoy the liberating sensation of drifting above the clouds.
