Hot Spring Information
Hokkaido Oshamanbe Futamata Onsen
Utilizes a semi-natural hot spring featuring the natural mineral stone 'Komeiseki'. The mineral components derived from the stone dissolve in the water, expected to promote blood circulation and provide a warming effect. The water is colorless and transparent with a soft touch, leaving the skin feeling smooth after bathing. Many users choose to cool down in this artificial hot spring between sauna sessions and cold water baths.
Sauna & Cold Bath Information
Auto Löyly (Far Infrared Sauna)
A room equipped with a large heater piled with sauna stones and a far infrared heat source. Water is automatically dropped onto the stones every few minutes, creating a sudden intense heat wave known as a 'blast'. Characterized by a rapid rise in humidity and heat, it is designed for a sauna experience that involves 'receiving heat waves'.
Finnish Sauna
A Nordic-style design with relatively controlled room temperature and humidity, featuring tiered benches and a bucket for self-löyly with aromatic water. It promotes the image of bathing in negative ions and is structured to encourage gradual sweating. The design focuses more on 'circulation of heat and air' than on heat intensity.
Yomogi Mist Sauna
A steam-type sauna set at a relatively low temperature of around 50°C, designed to fill the room with the aroma of yomogi (mugwort) by steaming it in a box. With high humidity, it warms the body with steam while promoting perspiration. The sauna is designed to 'gently and deeply warm' both in terms of temperature and humidity.
