Nagoya's proud sauna paradise

Aichi Nagoya City

Wellbe Imaike is a men-only sauna and capsule hotel located in Imaike, Chikusa Ward, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. It offers three distinct steam experiences: a Finnish Sauna at around 100°C, a self-löyly-capable Mori no Sauna, and a private, Japanese-style steam room called Karafuro. The open-air bath Kasumi no Yu, fed by the Ikeda Sakura Onsen source, is a mildly alkaline spring that leaves skin feeling smooth and helps relieve fatigue from the core. Overnight guests can use the sauna 24 hours a day, and the facility is conveniently located about a 1-minute walk from Imaike Station.

Scheduled löyly and aufguss sessions boost humidity and airflow at set times, drawing out deep, steady sweating. The heat is sharp and penetrates quickly, warming you to the core even in a short session. The room environment is well-appointed, with options such as television and music, allowing you to spend focused time in the heat.

Intense cold plunge bath 1
Men's

A sharply cold, intense plunge bath that tightens the body heated by a high-temperature sauna and provides a powerful cooldown. The cold is substantial, so even a short soak lowers body temperature effectively. Ideal for those who favor a strong contrast between hot and cold, it supports a potent alternating-heat-and-cold routine that helps induce a totonou experience. The immediate chill on immersion feels invigorating and refreshing.

Men's

A mildly tempered cold plunge bath located beside the Mori no Sauna. It is set for those who dislike very cold water or prefer a slower soak, allowing you to lower your body temperature over a longer period. The water quality feels soft, making longer soaks easier on the body. It gently supports the sauna → cold plunge bath → rest cycle and enables a gradual cooldown, suitable for beginners or those not yet accustomed to alternating hot-and-cold bathing.
