About Wellbe Imaike

Wellbe Imaike is a men-only sauna and capsule hotel located in Imaike, Chikusa Ward, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. It offers three distinct steam experiences: a Finnish Sauna at around 100°C, a self-löyly-capable Mori no Sauna, and a private, Japanese-style steam room called Karafuro. The open-air bath Kasumi no Yu, fed by the Ikeda Sakura Onsen source, is a mildly alkaline spring that leaves skin feeling smooth and helps relieve fatigue from the core. Overnight guests can use the sauna 24 hours a day, and the facility is conveniently located about a 1-minute walk from Imaike Station.

Hot SpringONSEN

Ikeda Sakura Onsen

An open-air bath fed by the Ikeda Sakura Onsen source. The mildly alkaline spring has a smooth, gentle feel on the skin and can leave skin feeling supple, offering skin-beautifying benefits. The water is soft to the touch and warms the body envelopingly. After repeating hot-and-cold cycles with the sauna and cold plunge bath, soaking slowly in this onsen provides a real sense of fatigue melting away. It may help with sensitivity to cold, recovery from fatigue, and joint pain, offering a luxurious onsen bathing experience in the city. Being an open-air bath, it also provides a pleasant sense of openness.

The room environment is well-appointed, with options such as television and music, allowing you to spend focused time in the heat.

Mori no Sauna

A sauna equipped with a stone heater that supports self-löyly. Temperatures are moderate, and you can control humidity at your own pace by pouring water on the stones. The space, filled with the scent of wood and quiet, is ideal for those who want to take their time steaming. The heat is gentle, and when humidity rises the steam envelops the skin, enabling relaxed sweating. The layout is also attractive for small groups who want to relax at ease.

Karafuro

A private, single-occupant Japanese-style steam room where you can enjoy a tatami-matted interior. You can lie down as well as sit while being steamed, and it supports self-löyly so you can adjust temperature and humidity in your own space. It offers a supreme private sauna experience for meditation or focused steaming, allowing you to face yourself in silence and spend a special time resetting both body and mind.

Cold BathCOLD BATH

Intense cold plunge bath

A sharply cold, intense plunge bath that tightens the body heated by a high-temperature sauna and provides a powerful cooldown. The cold is substantial, so even a short soak lowers body temperature effectively. Ideal for those who favor a strong contrast between hot and cold, it supports a potent alternating-heat-and-cold routine that helps induce a totonou experience. The immediate chill on immersion feels invigorating and refreshing.

Cold plunge bath at Mori no Sauna

Men's

A mildly tempered cold plunge bath located beside the Mori no Sauna. It is set for those who dislike very cold water or prefer a slower soak, allowing you to lower your body temperature over a longer period. The water quality feels soft, making longer soaks easier on the body. It gently supports the sauna → cold plunge bath → rest cycle and enables a gradual cooldown, suitable for beginners or those not yet accustomed to alternating hot-and-cold bathing.
