Ryusenji no Yu
At Spa Metza Ootaka Ryusenji no Yu, natural hot spring water is used, gushing from deep underground. The spring quality is sodium-chloride, gently enveloping the skin and maintaining warmth from the core of the body even after bathing, known as 'heat water.' Along with its heat retention effect, it is expected to promote blood circulation, alleviate cold sensitivity, neuralgia, and aid in recovery from fatigue. Despite its smooth texture, the warmth lingers, allowing you to feel the blessings of nature while in the city, making it a healing hot spring.
Sauna & Cold Bath Information
Dragon Sauna
Equipped with five stoves from world-renowned brands, the 'Dragon Löyly' is activated every hour on the hour, simultaneously using all five stoves. This large-scale sauna heats the body intensely in a short time with its overwhelming heat. The humidity is set high, designed to make you sweat quickly and strongly focus on the path to 'totonou' (state of perfect relaxation).
medi sauna
A sauna room that supports self-löyly. It uses aromatic water, allowing users to adjust the humidity themselves, ideal for those who want to steam quietly. Utilizing a wet stove, it promotes deep sweating in a calm heat.
Moisturizing Salt Sauna
Despite the temperature being in the 50°C range, this 'healing' sauna is equipped with humidity, aroma, salt, and mud packs. It provides an experience that gently warms from the feet while also focusing on skin care.
Metza Cold Water Bath
Set at a single temperature of about 8°C, it takes advantage of the chill of underground natural water. Designed to immerse the entire body while standing, it provides a sharp cold stimulus even in a short time. Known as the 'awakening water,' it is popular for instantly cutting off the heat's afterglow with its stimulating and refreshing effect.
Deep Water Bath
A 'submersion-type' cold plunge bath boasting a water depth of over 140cm. Filled with underground natural water, it is deep enough to submerge your head. The sensation of embracing the cold with your entire body after intense heat is exceptional, offering a comfort akin to melting into silence. It's a bath you'll want to soak in repeatedly until your heartbeat stabilizes.
Forest Cold Water Bath
A cold plunge bath using underground natural water with a soft touch on the skin. The water temperature is about 16°C, cooling the body gently as if enveloping it. The balance between cooling power and comfort is exquisite, making it an ideal bath after the Dragon Sauna.
