"KIKI Shiretoko Natural Resort" is a hot spring resort hotel in Shari Town, Shari District, Hokkaido. Its biggest draw is the four distinctive saunas produced by Totonoe Oyakata. From the dark, immersive Kuro Sauna, the relaxing Nenua where you can lie down, a sauna where you can enjoy self-wisking, and the Iglu Sauna scented by a wood-burning stove, you can experience a wide range of heat textures. Large Bath
A large bath using a sodium-chloride and bicarbonate hot spring. Gentle on the skin, it is characterized by a highly heat-retaining spring quality that warms you from the core. In a quiet space surrounded by forest and water, with an open atmosphere that brings the scenery in through large windows, you can lose track of time and slowly surrender yourself to the bath.
SaunaSAUNA
Nenua
A sauna designed for lying down. You can fully relax and enjoy the heat in a comfortable posture without worrying about those around you. Steam created through self-löyly gently wraps around your body and gradually encourages deep sweating.
Kuro Sauna
A sauna defined by its jet-black interior and the triangular shape of the entire room. It has a classic Finnish-style setup, and you can enjoy pleasant heat through self-löyly. The dark room creates a strong sense of immersion, allowing you to quietly focus on yourself without worrying about the gaze of others.
Whisking Sauna
A rare sauna in Japan where you can enjoy self-wisking with vihta. It is equipped with a steam generator, giving it a pleasant humidity and a gentle heat texture. The mild room temperature lets you stay comfortably for a long time while fully enjoying the aroma.
Iglu Sauna
An Estonian-style dome sauna installed in an outdoor open-air space. As a hotel feature, it unusually uses a wood-burning stove, and the sound of the wood burning and its distinctive fragrant aroma stimulate all five senses. Self-löyly is available, so you can fully enjoy powerful heat and the convection of soft steam.

Cold Plunge Bath
A cold plunge bath with a generously deep tub available for both men and women. It is deep enough to envelop your whole body, allowing you to cool down at once after the sauna. There is also a cascading water feature that lets you pour water over your head at the push of a button, offering an exhilarating refreshment experience.
