About Yoshidaya Sannoukaku
Yoshidaya Sannoukaku is an onsen inn in Kaga, Ishikawa Prefecture. It has two proper saunas with distinctly different characters, Mugen no Inochi on the ground floor and Mori no Sachi on the third floor, where löyly and cooling off in the open air bring on a deep sense of relaxation. It boasts the largest flow of onsen water in Yamashiro Onsen, a hot spring town with 1,300 years of history, and its rustic open-air bath brims with natural onsen water fed straight from the source, never recirculated. With private baths and rooms with their own onsen baths, it’s an easy place to spend unhurried time to yourself while savoring the flavors of the Hokuriku region.
Hot SpringONSEN
Main bathhouse Inochi-no-Izumi
The main bathhouse on the ground floor. It brims with natural onsen water from the largest source flow in Yamashiro Onsen, a hot spring town with 1,300 years of history. In the rustic rock open-air bath, you can feel the natural breeze among the trees and savor the soft feel of the water to your heart’s content.
Main bathhouse Sachi-no-Izumi
The main bathhouse on the third floor, with fine natural onsen water that lets you fully enjoy the gifts of Yamashiro Onsen. In the stylishly designed open-air bath, the natural breeze feels wonderful as you take a leisurely soak gazing at the green of the trees. The men’s and women’s baths switch between morning and evening, so you can enjoy both bathing areas and their different atmospheres.
Private bath Waraku
A private bath where you can have the natural onsen water all to yourselves. Stretch out and unwind while taking in the natural scenery through the wide-open windows. The changing area comes with a sofa and TV, so you can keep enjoying quiet time together after your bath. It is barrier-free, so guests of all ages can use it with peace of mind.

It also offers löyly, and a solid heat envelops the body. After the sauna, cool down in the cold plunge outside, then enjoy cooling off in the open air as you feel the natural breeze.
Sauna Mori no Sachi
A bright sauna room themed on forest bathing and filled with the scent of hinoki. Its curved, vaulted ceiling helps the heat circulate through the room, warming the whole body efficiently. The gentle steam from löyly and the fragrance of the wood bring a deep sense of relaxation. After cooling your flushed body in the adjacent cold plunge, settle into a lounge chair set among the trees and enjoy cooling off in the open air as if you were in the middle of a forest.

Cold plunge
A cold plunge right next to the sauna room. It rinses away the sweat from the sauna, and the cold pulls the flushed body taut for a refreshing jolt. Lounge chairs for cooling down sit close by, so moving from the cold plunge to cooling off in the open air is effortless. Surrounded by fresh air and the green of the trees, you drift into a deep relaxation, as if cooling off in a forest.

Access
By train and bus
- Get off at Kagaonsen Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen (the Kanazawa–Tsuruga section opened in March 2024)
- From Komatsu Airport, take the Kaga Shuyu CANBUS sightseeing bus and get off at Yamashiro Onsen Higashiguchi
Shuttle service
- Free shuttle from Kagaonsen Station (reservation required)
- Pick-up 14:00–18:00 (departs the station on the hour and at half past)
- Drop-off 8:00–11:00 (departs the inn on the hour and at half past)
- Guests staying at Shofuan also have departures from the inn at 11:30 and 12:00
Free parking available, with a covered area for motorcycles. When using car navigation, search by the inn’s name (Yoshidaya Sannoukaku) or phone number rather than the address (searching by address may direct you to the back entrance). About a 10-minute walk from Yamashiro Onsen Higashiguchi.
