About Hotel Star Land
"Hotel Star Land" is a lodging-capable public bath facility in Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Its biggest draw is the carefully crafted medicinal herb bath, blended in-house from more than 20 kinds of Kampo herbs. The sauna is a dry, scorching, old-school Showa-style sauna with a powerfully arid heat, and the cold plunge bath afterward uses 100 percent Mt. Fuji spring water. Natural water drawn up from underground is generously left to flow continuously, allowing guests to enjoy a consistently soft water quality all year round. The open-air area also has a space for fresh-air bathing, deeply soothing both body and mind.

Herb Bath
A carefully crafted bath made by blending more than 20 kinds of Kampo and medicinal herbs in-house. On the men’s side, the formula is aimed at relieving fatigue and promoting metabolism, while on the women’s side, a different blend is used with an emphasis on skin-beautifying effects. The spicy, rich aroma fills the bathhouse, letting you feel the warmth reaching deep into your body.
Functional Bathtubs
In addition to the herb bath, the large public bath also offers functional bathtubs such as jet baths and waterfall baths. The pleasant stimulation of the water flow massages your whole body, and when combined with the sauna and herb bath, it can help refresh fatigue even more effectively.

A Showa-style dry sauna with an L-shaped bench. The dry, powerful heat envelops your whole body, helping you work up a solid sweat in a short time. The soothing scent of medicinal herbs drifts through the air, and in the nostalgic atmosphere of the room, you can clear your mind and quietly face yourself.

Cold Bath
A cold plunge bath using 100 percent Mt. Fuji spring water. Natural water drawn from underground is generously left to flow continuously, so fresh water always overflows. The water quality is astonishingly mellow and gentle on the skin, and its consistently cool temperature all year round softly cools down your overheated body. After the cold plunge bath, you can relax at leisure in the open-air area with fresh-air bathing.
