"Tsukubasan Onsen Tsukuba no Yu" is a day-use hot spring facility in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture. Located midway up Mount Tsukuba, it offers a spacious, open setting surrounded by rich natural beauty. The sauna features löyly, allowing you to enjoy a gently enveloping steam experience that is mild yet deeply pleasant. The cold plunge bath is intentionally not chilled, making it comfortable even for beginners. From the open-air bath, you can enjoy a close view of Mount Tsukuba's greenery, and the outdoor bathing deck is equipped with infinity chairs. The soft waters of the simple alkaline spring help leave your skin feeling smooth.
