About Yukoro Onsen

"Yukoro Onsen" is a day-use hot spring facility in the Hirafu area of Kutchan Town, Hokkaido. It offers a refined space where modern architecture harmonizes with the surrounding nature. The large public bath is equipped with a dry sauna wrapped in the warmth of natural wood, where you can experience deep relaxation that restores balance to body and mind. After the sauna, cool your heated body gently in a cold bath made with natural stone. The reddish amber-colored natural hot spring water is rich in skin-nourishing ingredients and provides deep healing along with the majestic seasonal scenery.

Large Public Bath

This natural hot spring, a sodium bicarbonate-chloride spring, has a beautiful reddish hue. It is rich in ingredients that help leave the skin smooth, and after bathing you can feel a lasting sense of moisture. From the open-air bath on the second-floor deck, you can face the majestic form of Mount Yotei, which changes with each season.

This dry sauna, furnished with premium natural wood, offers a pleasantly gentle heat that is easy on the skin. Wrapped in the orange glow of indirect lighting, you can slowly work up a sweat in the quiet, letting the fatigue of the day melt away. Afterward, cool down gently in the cold bath in one corner of the indoor bath, which is made of natural stone.
