About Shin-Iya Onsen Hotel Kazurabashi

"Shin-Iya Onsen Hotel Kazurabashi" is a hot spring inn in Iya, one of Japan's three most remote and hidden regions, located in Miyoshi, Tokushima Prefecture. To reach its signature Sky Open-Air Bath, guests ride a dedicated cable car up to the mountaintop and can enjoy sweeping panoramic views of Iya's mountain villages and valleys from a bath made of Awa blue stone. The large public bath on the third floor of the main building features a natural hot spring with simple sulfur water, as well as a compact dry sauna and cold plunge bath. With private open-air baths, Goemon baths, and local mountain cuisine served beside the irori hearth, it is full of the rich charm unique to this secluded area.

A gentle simple sulfur spring that is kind to the skin, a natural hot spring from the inn's own source with expected beautifying effects. To reach the signature Sky Open-Air Bath, guests ride a dedicated cable car from inside the building. From the open-air bath made of Awa blue stone, you can look out over the seasonal mountain villages and valleys of Iya below while enjoying an exceptional bath, accompanied by gentle breezes and birdsong. It can also be enjoyed in the large public bath and private baths.

A small dry sauna located inside the main building's third-floor large public bath. The room is kept at a pleasantly high temperature, allowing you to enjoy quiet, comfortable sweating while surrounded by the scent of wood. From the large windows in the bath, you can take in the magnificent natural scenery of Iya's mountain villages, creating an open and spacious sauna experience. Available hours are from the afternoon into the night.

A compact cold plunge bath for one person, installed in the main building's large public bath. Using tap water, it offers a pleasantly cooling sensation that refreshes the body after sauna use. After cooling down היט, you can relax while gazing at the greenery of the mountains of Iya spread out beyond the large public bath windows.
