"Yuyu no Sato Yusa & Ofurocafé yusa" is a hot spring inn in Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture. From the 5th-floor panoramic large bath fed by its own source from Kurosawa Onsen, guests can take in sweeping views of the magnificent Zao mountain range. The large bath also includes a mild low-temperature sauna and a cold plunge bath. On the first floor, the adjoining Ofurocafé yusa features a full-fledged sauna lounge where men and women can enjoy the space together in swimwear and similar attire, along with self-löyly and open-air bathing. There is also a book lounge lined with about 8,000 books and a café, making it a comfortable place to spend the whole day.

A panoramic large bath on the 5th floor that luxuriously uses abundant natural spring water from the property’s own source. Known locally as a beautiful skin bath, this colorless, clear, and gentle hot spring is beloved in the area, and guests can enjoy a truly luxurious soak that deeply soothes both body and mind while looking out over Zao’s scenery, which changes beautifully depending on the time of day and weather.

A sauna lounge newly opened in the Ofurocafé yusa area on the first floor, where men and women can enjoy the space together while wearing swimwear or indoor attire. This authentic Finnish-style sauna allows self-löyly, and also hosts events such as löyly with aromatic water and kugel events (aroma ice). In a stylish space wrapped in the warmth of wood, friends, families, and couples can share a genuine sauna experience and deep relaxation together.
