"Konpira Onsen Yumoto Yachiyo" is a long-established hot spring inn in Kotohira Town, Nakatado District, Kagawa Prefecture. Since its founding in the Kyōhō era 10, it has continued to soothe travelers for fifteen generations. A newly installed barrel sauna with a pleasant woody aroma stands in the rooftop open-air bath area, where you can enjoy the ultimate bathing experience along with spectacular views of Mount Konpira, the Sanuki Plain, and even the Seto Ohashi Bridge. Guest rooms range from tasteful Japanese-style rooms to private rooms with half open-air baths, and you can leisurely savor fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea served in your room.
A private spring that has welled up over many years from deep underground bedrock. This sodium-chloride cold mineral spring is extremely gentle, with a texture that softly envelops the skin. It offers excellent bathing benefits, helps keep you warm after bathing, and is expected to provide strong moisturizing effects. You can fully enjoy this historic famous hot spring in the open-air bath on the rooftop or in the spacious large bath.
