Connected to Lake Shikotsu by a water gate, the depth of the bath changes in response to the lake level, ranging from about 45 cm to 160 cm depending on the season and weather. The spring water that bubbles up from between the gravel laid across the bottom is a smooth, rich cloudy bath of sodium-calcium chloride, bicarbonate, and sulfate spring water. You can experience the finest bathing in a hidden hot spring, one that fully unites you with nature.

A genuine dry sauna in authentic Finnish style, located next to the large bath. This compact room, lit with calm indirect lighting, features a sauna-stone convection stove and allows self-löyly.
