The main bathhouse
The main bathhouse lets you enjoy Shikotsuko Onsen, known as a “bath of beauty.” The water is soft and silky, and its cleansing effect is said to leave skin smooth. A wide range of baths includes a jacuzzi, a reclining bath and a standing bath, and in the open-air bath you can relax body and mind as sunlight filters through the trees and a gentle breeze drifts by.

Once the cold has pulled your flushed body taut, head to the Totonou Yukemuri Deck in the open-air bath area, a steam-wreathed spot for sinking into that deep, settled calm.
