About Genjikoh

"Genjikoh" is a Japanese-style ryokan in Minamichita Town, Aichi Prefecture, where guests are welcomed with the fragrance of incense. Its all-ocean-view rooms overlooking Ise Bay are a defining feature. On the top, 10th floor, there is a cloud-level open-air bath with an unobstructed view of the sea, where you can enjoy Minamichita Onsen, a natural hot spring also known as ancient fossil water. The adjoining compact dry sauna has a small window, allowing you to luxuriate while gazing out at the spectacular scenery. Although there is no cold plunge bath, open-air bathing in the sea breeze provides the ultimate moment of rest.

A natural hot spring that gushes up from deep underground fossil water. With its high salt content, it provides excellent heat retention, almost like applying a salt pack to the body, and is cherished as the "longevity bath." The water feels soft and smooth, and the warmth after bathing, along with the silky feel of the skin, lasts for a long time. From the exceptionally open cloud-level open-air bath on the 10th floor, you can take in the sweeping grandeur of Ise Bay without missing a thing.

A small-group dry sauna in the large public bath, soothing guests with the fragrance of incense. Through the small window in the sauna room, the beautiful expanse of Ise Bay unfolds, changing expression from moment to moment and offering a deeply relaxing visual experience as well. Gentle, mellow heat envelops the entire body, creating a healing space that loosens both body and mind from the inside out.
