The European-style large bath Chinita-no-Yu has an exotic atmosphere created by its brick style and stained-glass decor. In a space full of a foreign ambience that differs from the other baths, you can slowly savor the natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source. The warmest bath here lets you heat your body thoroughly from the core.
Private open-air bath in guest room
A private open-air bath with a view, supplied directly from the source, installed in the rooms of the special floor Wakabou Setsuka. In a private space overlooking the grand canyon of Sounkyo, you can enjoy natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source whenever you like. This is an exceptional healing space where you can spend precious time with someone special at a relaxed pace, undisturbed by anyone.

A full-scale Finnish-style sauna attached to the observation large bath Taisetsu-no-Yu. Self löyly is available, and pouring water on the sauna stones spreads pleasant steam and aroma throughout the room. You can gradually warm up deep to the core while adjusting the humidity and temperature to your liking. Deck chairs for outdoor air bathing are provided in the open-air bath area, allowing you to sink into a deeply relaxed state of mind and body while gazing at the magnificent scenery of Daisetsuzan.

Cold plunge bath
A distinctive cold plunge bath with a waterfall feature inspired by the famous Ginga and Ryusei Falls in Sounkyo. It sharply cools down a body heated by the sauna with crisp, refreshing water. After the cold plunge bath, you can fully enjoy blissful outdoor air bathing in a deck chair set in the open-air bath area while feeling the clear air of the canyon.

By train and bus
- JR Asahikawa Station → Dohoku Bus for Sounkyo / Kamikawa (Platform 8 at Asahikawa Station front)
- New Chitose Airport / Asahikawa Airport → Asahikawa Station → Dohoku Bus for Sounkyo
Shuttle service
- In winter (usually mid-October to late April), there is a shuttle bus from Asahikawa Station (reservation required)
