"Fuji Mishima Tokyu Hotel" is an urban resort hotel directly connected to the south exit of JR Mishima Station in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture. From Fuji no Yu, a panoramic bathing facility on the 14th floor, the top floor, guests can enjoy sweeping views of majestic Mount Fuji, the Hakone foothills, and Suruga Bay. A panoramic large bath on the 14th floor, about 60 m above ground, at the top of the building. It consists of an indoor bath with an interior motif inspired by the stepping stones of Gembee River in Mishima City and lava stones, along with an open-air bath where the natural breeze feels pleasant. Although it is not a natural hot spring, the superb panoramic view of Mount Fuji, the Hakone foothills, and Mishima's glittering night streets below is truly exceptional.
A dry sauna with two-tier benches, set in the open-air area. In this quiet space with no TV or background music, you can take your time, sweat deeply, and focus calmly on yourself. It is often not very crowded, so even though it is part of an urban hotel, you can fully enjoy a relaxing sauna session.
A cold plunge bath located just outside the sauna room. It provides a pleasant, refreshing cool-down after you have warmed up thoroughly in the sauna. There is no dedicated chair for open-air bathing, so the style here is to sit on the edge of the open-air bath or similar spot and enjoy the breeze while looking at the Shinkansen passing below and Mount Fuji in the distance.
