"Dogo Prince Hotel" is one of the largest hot spring inns in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture. At the large public bath Yuno Ka, renovated in 2020, guests can enjoy saunas equipped with an auto löyly function, a steam sauna, and a wide variety of bathtubs. Yuno Ne, the open-air bath where you can feel the changing seasons in the garden, features 8 different baths, allowing for a luxurious bath-hopping experience within the facility. The soft waters of the alkaline simple hot spring gently soothe the fatigue of travel. The hotel also has 4 private open-air baths, where you can fully enjoy the famous waters in a private setting.
A natural hot spring using water from the Dogo Onsen source. The alkaline water with a pH of 9.0 is known as a beauty bath that softens dead skin cells and leaves the skin feeling smooth. Fresh water flows from the spouts in the large public bath, and in the open-air baths overlooking the garden, you can enjoy bath-hopping across several baths with different atmospheres. After bathing, your body stays warm from the inside, and a pleasant lingering warmth remains.
An authentic dry sauna with a pleasant hinoki aroma drifting through the air. Once every hour, water is automatically poured onto the sauna stones through the auto löyly function, filling the room with powerful heat and steam. The perceived temperature rises sharply, encouraging efficient sweating. With subtle lighting effects, it offers a space where you can enjoy deep relaxation.
