"Yukotan no Mori" is a hot spring inn in Shizukuishi Town, Iwate District, Iwate Prefecture. The large bath area is divided into two sections: Mori no Yu, which is also open to day visitors, and Ten no Yu, a scenic bath reserved exclusively for overnight guests. Fed by a natural hot spring with sulfur, sodium, bicarbonate, and chloride, the water has a smooth, silky feel and is said to help promote beautiful skin. The spacious open-air bath, where you can feel one with the forest, offers excellent forest bathing benefits, and you can relax and enjoy a long soak while taking in the beautiful scenery of each season, from fresh spring greenery to snow-viewing in the open-air bath.

Iwate, as you savor an elegant bath.
