Wakayama Kushimoto Town
An ocean-view hot spring at the southernmost tip of Honshu, commanding a spectacular Pacific Ocean panorama
"Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Nanki-Kushimoto" is a hot spring resort hotel in Kushimoto Town, Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture. Its greatest appeal is the overwhelming sense of openness of the open-air bath, with the vast Pacific Ocean stretching out right in front of you. Surrounded by sea breeze and the sound of the waves, you can take in the contrast between the blue sea and sky during the day, and a beautiful sunrise rising from the horizon in the early morning. The natural hot spring, a chlorinated spring that gushes from its own source, has a faint sulfur scent, and the warmth lingers from deep within your body even after you get out of the bath. With all-ocean-view rooms and an observation terrace overlooking the sea, it is a place where you can refresh to your heart's content while fully immersing yourself in the magnificent nature at the southernmost tip of Honshu with all five senses.

Features an open-air bath with a sweeping Pacific panorama right in front of you, as well as a spacious indoor bath where you can stretch out and relax. The private source spring, a sodium, calcium, sulfate-chloride hot spring with sulfur, carries a faint scent of the sea and sulfur, and its warmth lingers from deep within your body even after you leave the bath. From the open-air bath, you can enjoy views of the sea and sky that change with the time of day, as well as the divine sunrise rising at the southernmost tip of Honshu, spending a blissful moment wrapped in the sound of waves and the sea breeze.
