Motoshirane Onsen Roofed Semi-Open-Air Bath

TypeNatural Hot Spring

A roofed semi-open-air bath where the refreshing highland breeze at 1,100 meters above sea level flows pleasantly through. The water is filled with Motoshirane Onsen, a high-quality natural hot spring known for its skin-beautifying effects and for its salt content, which clings to the skin to help retain warmth and make you less likely to cool down after bathing. Directly in front of you stretches a magnificent panorama of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains, including the Asama mountain range and Mount Asamayama. At dusk, you can be soothed by the sunset turning the sky a deep crimson, and at night by a star-filled sky that seems to pour down from above.
