Fukushima Fukushima City

"Surikamitei Ootori" is a resort ryokan surrounded by abundant nature, tucked away in the back room of the famed Iizaka Onsen in Mutsu, offering healing and tranquility. Its gourmet hospitality is a highlight, from the "Fukushima-style set meal," where you can savor premium seasonal ingredients from the prefecture and carefully selected Fukushima beef chosen under the strict standards unique to the JA Group, to the handmade breakfast buffet that is gentle on the body in the morning. The renowned hot spring drawn from its own source is a "simple hot spring" with a soft, gentle feel and an abundant flow that seems to overflow from the bathhouse. The separate large public baths for men and women each feature a spacious indoor bath where you can stretch out and soak at your leisure, as well as a covered open-air bath full of open-air charm and Japanese atmosphere, made with local Samegawa stone from Fukushima Prefecture. In addition, both the men's and women's large public baths are equipped with an authentic dry sauna and a cold plunge bath, allowing guests to enjoy an exceptional alternating hot-and-cold bathing experience while feeling the breeze of the surrounding nature.
