About Minami-Izu Tokiichiyu

Tokiichiyu in Minami-Izu is a Japanese-style resort ryokan tucked away along the coast of Yumigahama in Minamiizu Town, Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture, one of Japan's cooler summer retreats. With a superb location overlooking the Pacific Ocean through the pine trees, guests can enjoy natural hot spring water from the inn's own source in the large public bath, YurarI, and in three garden open-air baths made of rock, stone, and cypress. In addition, all three private open-air baths, each with a different design such as Asian-style or cypress, are available free of charge. There are also stylish yukata for women and a beer service after bathing, making this an inn where you can spend a luxurious stay like a hideaway for adults.

Large Public Bath

A spacious, open, and airy indoor large bath, plus three uniquely charming open-air baths surrounded by a garden filled with seasonal flowers: the Rock Bath, Stone Bath, and Cypress Bath. The natural hot spring water, rich in minerals and known for its excellent warming and skin-beautifying effects, gently envelops your whole body. In the quiet surrounded by greenery, you can fully savor a luxurious hot spring experience while listening to the sound of the waves beyond the rustling pine trees.

Private Open-Air Bath

Three private open-air baths, each with a different design and bathtub shape. Guests can use them freely without a reservation, simply locking the door from the inside during available times to enjoy a private hot spring space. This is a premium luxury space where you can relax to your heart's content as many times as you like in the nourishing sodium chloride spring, without worrying about being seen, while enjoying the beautiful nature and sea breeze of Yumigahama with your family or friends.

A low-temperature sauna with a calm atmosphere, attached to the large public bath. Compared with a typical high-temperature sauna, it is gentler on the body, allowing you to work up a pleasant sweat slowly and comfortably. The quiet room, filled with the warmth and scent of wood, lets you warm up at length with the feeling of deep meditation away from the noise of everyday life. After the sauna, cooling down on the wooden deck or outdoor cooling area beside the garden open-air bath, while feeling the pleasant sea breeze from Yumigahama, is especially refreshing.
