About Morimoto, Lakeside Inn

"Morimoto, Lakeside Inn" is a hot spring ryokan in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. A long-established culinary inn in Katayamazu Onsen, proudly founded in 1892. Set on the shores of beautiful Shibayamagata, whose colors are said to change seven times a day, it offers a luxurious experience of the famous waters at a large bath with a sweeping view of the calm lake surface and the Hakusan Mountain Range through expansive glass. The spring emerges at about 73 degrees Celsius, and you can indulge in the luxurious kakenagashi flow of pure hot spring water, with no added water and no reheating for 24 hours a day. Rebuilt after the impact of the earthquake and newly reopened in the summer of 2025, it also features a spectacular open-air bath, private baths with the warmth of hinoki cypress, and guest rooms with luxurious hot spring rock baths fed by the inn's own hot spring source, all offering a special lakeside stay in a lavish all-inclusive style.

Spectacular Large Bath

A spacious indoor bath with a front-row view of the beautiful surface of Shibayamagata, which is said to change color seven times a day, where you can stretch out your arms and legs and relax in comfort. The inn's abundant private source, with a spring temperature of 72 degrees Celsius or higher, is poured generously around the clock through luxurious kakenagashi flow, with no heating or added water at all. A famous beauty bath rich in minerals, it warms you to the core and keeps you warm for a long time.

Two luxurious private hot spring baths where you can enjoy the hot spring in a private space with your loved ones or partner. In a comfortable universal-design space overlooking Shibayamagata and a refined inner garden, you can fully enjoy the high-quality kakenagashi beauty bath all to yourself. Guests staying overnight may use it once for free for 45 minutes.
