Yamanaka Onsen has a history spanning more than 1,300 years, and its waters were praised by Matsuo Basho. The gentle, mildly alkaline calcium-sodium-sulfate spring is renowned as a skin-beautifying onsen and helps you unwind, body and mind. The spacious indoor bath has two tubs, one large and one small. In the hinoki tub, take your time bathing while enjoying the soothing fragrance of the wood.
