About Amaharashi Onsen Isohanabi
Amaharashi Onsen Isohanabi is an onsen inn in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. Its greatest draw is Yuraku, a main bathhouse with an open-air bath and a sweeping panorama that takes in the Noto Peninsula, the Himi coast, Toyama Bay and the Tateyama mountain range. There are two main bathhouses, one bright and airy in Western style and one calm in Japanese style, where you can soak in heat-retaining sodium chloride spring water while gazing at superb sea views that change with the season and the hour. Two private baths, one of stone and one of hinoki, also let you soak without a care in a space of your own. Fresh seafood from Toyama is on the table too, making this a blissful inn where a spectacular onsen refreshes both body and mind.

Panoramic main bathhouse: Yuraku
A main bathhouse with an open-air bath and a superb, sweeping panorama from the Noto Peninsula to the Himi coast, Toyama Bay and the Tateyama mountain range, as if it held the whole Sea of Japan in its arms. There are two types, one bright and airy in Western style and one calm in Japanese style; soak in heat-retaining sodium chloride spring water and savor the seascape to your heart’s content as it shifts through the day.
Private baths: Ichi-no-Yu and Ni-no-Yu
Private baths for an unhurried soak with no one else to mind. There are two: Ichi-no-Yu, spacious and built of stone, and Ni-no-Yu, built of hinoki and wrapped in its soothing scent. Both are barrier-free, so you can go straight in by wheelchair and relax at leisure in the heat-retaining onsen with family or someone special.
