Niigata Sado City

"Kiraku, the Inn of the Toki Legend and Open-Air Baths" is a scenic hot spring inn perched on the shores of Lake Kamo in Sado City, Niigata Prefecture. Located on a hilltop overlooking Lake Kamo, one of Japan's 100 Scenic Spots, the O Sado Mountain Range, and Ryotsu Bay, it offers breathtaking views from every guest room and from the top-floor Panorama Public Bath. The hot spring water is drawn from Shizukihama Onsen, which boasts one of the largest volumes of hot water on the island. In a separate building, there is the exclusive outdoor open-air bath, Toki no Maiyu, named after the legend that an injured toki healed its wounds here, as well as private reserved open-air baths. Guests are treated to fresh seafood landed off the coast of Sado.
