Gunma Tsumagoi Village

"Manza Onsen Nisshinkan" is a historic hot spring inn that opened in the Meiji era, standing at an elevation of 1,800 m in Tsumagoi Village, Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture. It boasts the highest sulfur concentration in Japan and an overwhelming natural flow of about 5.4 million liters a day, allowing guests to enjoy its acidic, milky-white cloudy waters as 100% free-flowing natural hot spring water. In the all-natural wooden large bath, Chojunoyu, you can enjoy therapeutic bathing through a tour of unique tubs such as the largest Nigori-yu and Ubayu, which uses water straight from the source. You can also experience the bliss of bathing in Gokurakuyu, an open-air bath with an unobstructed panoramic view and a sky full of stars, offering a taste of true paradise on earth.
