Toya Sun Palace Resort & Spa is a large lakeside resort hotel on the shores of Lake Toya in Sobetsu, Usu District, Hokkaido. From its rare semi-open-air main bath, the "Onsen Terrace Mizuha and Kazaha," which can be fully opened, guests can enjoy a spectacular view that seems to merge with Lake Toya itself. The smooth, famous sodium chloride and sulfate hot spring can be enjoyed in a variety of baths, including open-air baths, jacuzzis, and reclining baths. Self-löyly sauna

A full-fledged Finnish-style sauna installed inside the main bath area, where self-löyly is available. From the sauna room window, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Toya beyond the open-air bath, creating a spacious and liberating atmosphere. Pouring water over the sauna stones instantly fills the room with pleasant steam and heat, encouraging deep sweating throughout the body. Cold lemon water is provided right in front of the sauna room.

A crisp, cool cold plunge bath located right in front of the sauna room. The temperature is set at a comfortable level, so both sauna beginners and enthusiasts can soak steadily and without strain. After the cold plunge, you can smoothly move on to an outdoor air bath in the open-air bath area, where you can feel the clear breeze from Lake Toya.
