Livemax Resort Shiretoko Seafront is a resort hotel in Rausu, Hokkaido. Its greatest appeal is the breathtaking large public bath with ocean views overlooking the Nemuro Strait and Kunashiri Island. The hotel’s private natural spring, Marumi Onsen, is a sulfurous cold mineral spring that gently envelops the skin, and bathing while gazing out at the sea is exceptional. In addition to the open-air bath where you can feel the sea breeze, you can also enjoy the indoor bath using chaga extract. After working up a good sweat in the dry sauna, you can cool down refreshingly in the cold plunge bath. The guest rooms in the new building feature private bedrock baths, offering a fully equipped private space for relaxation as well.

At the end of this efficient route, your overheated body is refreshed, letting you enjoy a pleasant hot-and-cold contrast bath. After cooling down, move on to the open-air bath area. The pleasant outdoor air bath that lets you feel the outside air flows naturally from one experience to the next, guiding you into a gentle, restorative moment that melts away the fatigue of the day.
