About TAOYA Nasu Shiobara
"TAOYA Nasu Shiobara" is a hot spring resort hotel in Nasu Shiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture. It is an adult hideaway nestled in the rich forests of Shiobara. From the open-air observation bath on the top floor, you can take in sweeping views of the unobstructed mountain ridges and the hot spring town, and at night a sky full of stars stretches overhead. The water is a chloride spring containing metasilicic acid, a component known for its natural moisturizing properties. This gentle natural hot spring softly envelops the whole body, and its warmth lingers long after you get out. The large bath is equipped with a mild sauna where you can work up a sweat at your own pace, while the women’s bath area offers a pleasantly lukewarm bath and the men’s bath area has a waterfall bath. With all-inclusive service, you can enjoy cold beer and ice cream in the bath lounge, then spend the rest of your time in complete relaxation.

Open-Air Observation Bath
An open, roofless observation bath on the top floor. You can look out over Shiobara’s magnificent mountains and the greenery of the trees below, and at night enjoy a bath while gazing up at a sky full of stars. Filled with a natural hot spring of gentle chloride water, it offers an extraordinary time in which your mind and body are deeply loosened while you feel the clean air of nature all around you.
Indoor Bath
The spacious indoor bath area is filled with natural hot spring water that retains heat well and cools down slowly. On the women’s side, there is a pleasantly lukewarm bath for relaxing and lingering longer, while on the men’s side there is a refreshing waterfall bath. The washing area is also fully equipped with premium shower heads, making it a soothing space where you can leisurely enjoy the sauna and hot spring.

Sauna
The sauna attached to the large bath is set to a mild temperature that lets you warm your body slowly over time. Its appeal is that you can work up a sweat at your own pace in a quiet space, without being rushed by intense heat. After warming up deeply in the sauna, you can refresh yourself with the lukewarm bath in the large bath area or a dedicated shower, and sink into an exceptional feeling of refreshment.
