An inn in Boso where an open-air bath in a starlit forest and an artificial onsen warm you to the core
Oedo Onsen Monogatari Kimitsu no Mori is an inn surrounded by forest in Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture. The indoor bath of the main bathhouse brims with Komyoseki-no-Yu, an artificial onsen made with a mineral approved as a quasi-drug, soft on the skin and warming the body to the core. In the airy open-air bath you can give yourself to the reclining bath and gaze up at the sky, and at night a sky full of stars fills your view in a time of pure bliss. There is also a jet bath with a pleasant massaging pressure and a low-temperature sauna where even those who dislike strong heat can relax. With walking paths on the grounds and a creative buffet of Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes, you can refresh body and mind while feeling the nature of Boso. Day-use bathing is also available.
