Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Ito Hotel New Okabe is a hot spring hotel in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It has two different large public baths in the Sagami-tei and Suruga-tei buildings, allowing guests to enjoy free and easy bath-hopping throughout their stay without being tied to a schedule. The large public baths are equipped with a dry sauna and a cold plunge bath, so after working up a good sweat in the heat, you can enjoy alternating hot and cold bathing by cooling your whole body in crisp cold water. The water is a natural hot spring drawn from two private spring sources on the property, a chloride spring with a gentle feel on the skin and excellent heat retention. In the garden bath, lined with Izu stone said to have been used in the stone walls of Edo Castle, you can take in the carefully maintained greenery and enjoy deep relaxation for both body and mind. After bathing, spend a blissful moment in the premium lounge with a drink in hand by the lit fireplace.

A spacious indoor bath and garden bath set separately in Sagami-tei and Suruga-tei. The natural hot spring water, blended from two private spring sources that gush up on the property, is a chloride spring that feels gentle on the skin, and its warmth lingers long after you leave the bath. In particular, the garden bath paved with Izu stone, which was also used in the stone walls of Edo Castle, lets you enjoy blissful bathing away from the noise of everyday life, surrounded by beautifully kept trees and clear air.

A dry sauna located inside the large public bath, filled with a solid, enveloping heat. You can enjoy an exquisite sense of freshness, as if the boundary between your warmed body and the cold water melts away.

However, tattoos that can be completely covered by two cover stickers measuring 10cm x 14cm may use the large public baths if they wear the designated cover stickers. Cover stickers are sold at the front desk for 220 yen per sheet, tax included.
