Wakayama Shirahama Town
A hot spring inn where you can enjoy Nanki Shirahama's famous waters in a tatami-matted large public bath and a well-appointed bedrock bath
"Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Shirahama Gyoen" is a hot spring ryokan in Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture. Here you can fully enjoy Nanki Shirahama Onsen, one of Japan's three ancient hot springs, in an open-air bath overlooking the sea and in a tatami-matted large public bath that feels gentle on the skin and is less slippery. It is also equipped with a dry sauna and cold plunge bath, and after alternating between hot and cold bathing, outdoor air baths while feeling the sea breeze are especially pleasant. After bathing, you can unwind in a well-appointed bedrock bath area where you can work up a sweat slowly with far-infrared heat, or relax in a premium lounge overlooking a beautiful Japanese garden, allowing you to sink into a deeper, more luxurious level of relaxation.

A spacious large public bath where you can enjoy the waters of Nanki Shirahama Onsen, counted among Japan's three ancient hot springs. The bathhouse floor is covered with tatami, which feels gentle on the skin and is less slippery, so guests of all generations can relax with peace of mind. The adjoining open-air bath is surrounded by bamboo groves, allowing you to fully enjoy deep relaxation in beauty-enhancing waters while feeling a pleasant breeze and a faint scent of the sea.

The other large public bath, alongside Shiraume no Yu. This bathhouse floor is also covered with safe tatami, and in a compact, calm space you can slowly enjoy chloride spring water that is excellent for retaining warmth and moisture. As the bath alternates between men and women, you can visit two baths with different atmospheres in the morning and evening.

A quiet and soothing bedrock bath area located inside the facility. You can use it together as men and women while wearing the dedicated work clothes, and the far-infrared heat emitted slowly penetrates deep into the body. Along with a comfortable sweat, you can enjoy a detox-like sensation as if waste products are being washed away, further enriching your relaxing time after bathing.
