About TAOYA Gero

"TAOYA Gero" is a hot spring resort hotel in Gero City, Gifu Prefecture. Located on a hill overlooking the mountains of southern Hida and the Gero Onsen town, it offers open, breathtaking views and relaxing baths. There are two large public baths, Sōun no Yu and Shisō no Yu, and guests can enjoy their different atmospheres in alternating use by gender. The sauna and single-person cold plunge bath, both with beautiful views from the windows, are also fully equipped, allowing you to work up a pleasant sweat in the quiet of nature. Gero's hot spring, one of Japan's three most famous hot springs, is known for its smooth, silky texture. With an all-inclusive style, you can freely enjoy post-bath drinks, ice cream, and even alcohol at dinner.

However, tattoos that can be completely covered by two 10 cm x 14 cm cover stickers may use the large public baths, provided that they wear the dedicated cover stickers. Cover stickers are sold at the front desk for 220 yen per sheet (tax included).
